Day 16 PAIR at the Mendocino Art Center

Today I threw some closed forms for narwhals, loaded my Neptune head into the kiln even though it was still pretty wet. I guess that’s what a 12 hour hold is for?

We went to visit Cider Creek Collective and met Jess Thompson who was so welcoming and showed us some giant hound sculptures she was working on. We also took a tour of the grounds. Afterwards we went to Princess Sea food for a late lunch. Our table was close to the Noyo river. A harbor seal was curious about us for a bit before diving back down. Today was a nice relaxing day before the excitement of unloading the kiln tomorrow morning.
